Planting at Historic Governor's Mansion
Restoring history
California State Parks in partnership with the Sacramento
Tree Foundation and the Governor's Mansion Foundation, will be planting three
new trees to replace historically planted trees that have been lost. The Governor's Mansion pledged these trees as part of the
Tree Foundation's 30,000 tree campaign in March. All trees being planted are
from the Cultural Landscape Report (CLR) to stay historically correct and
include two Dutch Elm Disease resistant Elms, one cherry tree and various
plants.
